Hidden Figures, Film and Discussion
March 12 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Chico Center Student Lounge (Room 146)
Hidden Figures tells the incredible untold story of Katherine Jonson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson – brilliant African-American women working at NASA who served as the brains behind the launch into orbit of astronaut John Glenn. Facilitated by Safe Place and Wellness Program Coordinator, Quinsea Pratt.

Is one of your students zoning out? Doodling? Leaving class early? Coming to class under the influence of alcohol or other drugs? It could be a sign of a mental health condition. One in five young adults will experience a mental health condition ( National Alliance on Mental Illness, 2012). Join a discussion on the signs and symptoms of a student struggling with mental health and how faculty can support them in the classroom.
