Event Description: FLEX # 111.1
In part I of this presentation, the Butte College Biology faculty will introduce the replication cycle of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 disease, and explain how vaccines work to protect against disease. In part II, we will share up to date information on the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, the resources we use to stay current, and answer questions about the biology behind the vaccines. If you already attended the spring 2021 presentation or watched the recording, we recommend you only attend part II.
