All Day Decolonize!
Butte College Decolonize! is a four-day event focused on hosting workshops and activities that are key to our campus strategic initiative to enhance a culture of inclusiveness. The overall intent is to inform and inspire current and future actions by offering sessions that provide attendees with knowledge, training, and inspiration.

Please join us for a Pottery & Plant Sale hosted by the Environmental Horticulture Club and Butte Clay Club. It’s a fact that there is no better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than acquiring new plants. It’s also a fact that there is no better place to put new plants than in a hand-crafted ceramic planter. Both will be available in abundant supply at an affordable price, so mark your calendars!

Erik Shearer is a former tenured professor in the visual arts at Napa Valley College and remains active as an artist, having practiced for several decades. His amazing work is on display in BC Art Gallery and was carefully installed and designed by students with Sara Smallhouse (Art History Faculty); co-curated by Cloee Thomas, with an interactive feature inspired by the themes in his work, designed by Jazmine Lopez and Asahara Taore as a preparator. Meet the artist and join us for refreshments and a celebration! Today, April 6th, 3 – 5 p.m. at the BC Art Gallery.
