All Day Decolonize!
Butte College Decolonize! is a four-day event focused on hosting workshops and activities that are key to our campus strategic initiative to enhance a culture of inclusiveness. The overall intent is to inform and inspire current and future actions by offering sessions that provide attendees with knowledge, training, and inspiration.
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Decolonize! Welcome
Join the President and campus partners as we announce the Diversity Award recipient and acknowledge our student assistants that are doing great diversity work.

Come by to visit all of cultural centers located in the Swing Space. Enjoy hot dogs, ice cream, music and more.

Join the sociocultural studies department in welcoming Chico Country Day Middle School eight grade students when they present their language arts projects to the community

This collective exhibition form Chico Country Day Middle School students is centered around the book by Alan Gratz, Refugee. The student projects ask: How can a book teach us about empathy? What would it take for me to leave my home? How do I personally identify with people in different parts of the world?
