Event Description:
FLEX # 754.8
This training will focus on the foundation of the system we use every day. Topics will include, how to ask for help when you get stuck, what to do if your screen freezes, shortcuts to make your data entry more efficient, where to go to find out how to use a screen or process. We will briefly talk about saved lists, context cards, hold files (private/shared/public) and process handler (scheduling jobs). We will also go over the Test system and how you access it, maintenance and patching (it’s important you know a little), manuals (yes there is a manual for most areas), the online support center and how to access it for community based help, a brief discussion of Self-Service and any more topics that come up. I will leave time for Q&A and am willing to discuss most IT questions, although I ask we keep them general in nature not job or screen specific. |
