1:00 PM Board of Trustees Meeting
The Butte-Glenn Community College District is governed by its seven-member, locally elected Board of Trustees and a student board member. The board is responsible for the educational, physical, and financial well-being of the district. 

The Board of Trustees holds a regular public meeting once a month during the academic year. Regular board meetings convene at 1 p.m. in the Board Room, Student Administrative Services building (SAS 360), 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville, CA 95965, unless otherwise posted.

Learn about the unique obstacles facing undocumented and mixed immigration status family students at Butte College. We will be exploring the concepts of race and erasure, and challenge our understanding of what it means to be undocumented in higher education. This is a Certificate Ally Training format to learn how to better and more appropriately serve undocumented students attending Butte College.

The newly formed smoking taskforce has been tasked by the district to review current Smoking/Tobacco policies and we would like your input, including:
* Moving the location of the current smoking areas
* If we are going to move them, where you think we should move them to
* The idea of moving towards becoming a smoke-free campus

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Hunger, Homeless, and the BC Student

How can you help your students find the services that will contribute to their academic success? This workshop will go over the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, CalFresh outreach, what is available in the Roadrunner Hub, and the services available to Homeless Students. Information and training on the Early Alert program and how you can utilize this service to help your students in crisis will be presented. Please join us in addressing the issues that affect our students and discuss how we can better serve them.
