The last day to submit all 2019-2020 Verification Documents to the Financial Aid Office is July 10, 2020.

Summer Maximum Timeframe (MT) Appeal- Deadline
For students who failed to meet SAP time frame criteria. Students disqualified for exceeding time frame requirements may appeal by submitting an MT Appeal. Deadline for submitting a petition for the 2020 Summer semester is July 13, 2020.

12:00 AM Summer Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal Deadline

For students who failed to meet SAP criteria. Extenuating circumstances may include serious illness or injury, the death of an immediate family member, or other non-recurring catastrophic or compelling situation beyond the student's reasonable control. The Financial Aid Office is now accepting SAP Appeals for the 2020 Summer term. See SAP Appeal for instructions.

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Create Space Keepsakes

Have you checked out the Butte College Create Space Maker Lab?  During this Classified Professionals' Week is the best time to do so.  Come down to Create Space anytime during the hours of 10am - 3pm to create your own special keepsake.  There will be some low to no cost opportunities for you to create your own keepsake.  You may choose to create a button with art or quotes for $1 each.  Laser cut key-rings for $3 each.  Mugs with artwork or quotes on them for $3 each and more.  The Classified Senate has generously provided funding for the first 50 people to create a free button with art or quotes, or $1 off an item of their choice. 
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Resiliency Zone Training

The goal of this training is to introduce the Community Resilience Model (CRM) and help create “resiliency-focused” spirit in the workplace. You will gain common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system and how resiliency can be restored or increased using this skills-based approach while at work or at home. The Resiliency Zone” may get bumped out of its natural rhythm and the capacity to handle even daily life events may be difficult. The skills will help you bounce back into your Resiliency Zone so that you can feel like your “best self” more often.  Lunch will be provided for attendees.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Surviving Critical Incidents

​How should you react during a critical incident? What actions can you take to ensure your survival and the survival of those around you? We will teach these skills through video and discussion. We will also cover existing emergency procedures such as lockdown and evacuation. It will end with an open question and answer session with members of your Police Department.
