Event Description:
In collaboration with Chico State and the North State community. The author of How to Be an Antiracist, the 2020-2021 Book in Common, will participate in a conversation moderated by Dr. Kim Jaxon, Professor of English at Chico State, and Associated Students’ President and Agricultural Science and Education major, Bre Holbert.The conversation will situate the central themes of the book, including definitions and examples of anti-racism and racism, and discuss how to move from reflection to taking meaningful action on issues of racial equity.
