1:00 PM - 5:00 PM | Change Agent Summit
If you are even remotely paying attention to what has been going on in the world, you are likely worried – worried about the state of the world and what our future may hold. The climate crisis, systemic racism and white supremacy, gun violence and domestic terrorism, housing & food insecurity, mental health, fascism, walls, pandemics, and the list goes on.... What can one person or a small group do? Where to start? What will make a true difference? What skills should one have? Who is doing the work locally? How can one contribute?
We invite student leaders, young people, organization volunteers, and local change makers to join us for a half-day summit bringing together up and coming social justice change makers with Butte County community organizers and leaders to share wisdom, skills, motivation and inspiration.
This event will feature just a few of the many important issues in Butte County and amazing change agents working to create positive change in our region and the greater world. Know there is much more going on locally and many more people working hard! What are your passions and skills? What local organization or organizer can you support?
