Event Description:
Join us for an evening of jazz at Butte College, featuring the Butte College Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Ryan Heimlich. This concert is set to highlight the diverse talents within our large and small jazz ensembles, along with standout performances from our student soloists. Each piece on the program has been chosen for its personal significance to the musicians, offering a lineup that's as meaningful as it is melodious.
In a special collaboration, we're also proud to present the Pleasant Valley High School Jazz Ensemble, directed by Troy Symington, as our guest performers. This partnership bridges the gap between high school and college jazz, showcasing the continuity and growth within our local music community. |
