The Butte College Student Government (A.S.) is now accepting Student Government applications for the 23/24 academic year!   Applications due March 29.

Student Government members represent the student voice regarding important matters that affect their experience at Butte College. They participate on campus committees and help fund campus projects, student initiatives, clubs, campus events and more!

Join the Butte College Student Government!

·         Students earn an honorarium ($450 to $1,350)

·         Students receive a staff parking pass each semester

·         Students help make real change at Butte College

·         Students will get to learn alongside an amazing group of fellow students

·         Students will get to go to statewide leadership and advocacy conferences

·         Students will be trained in effective leadership, equity & inclusion, advocacy methods, how to run meetings, group dynamic theories, campus policies, and much more!

No Prior Experience Required

In fact, most students come to the A.S. team with little to no previous leadership experience.  Our team will provide them with on-going training to help them understand their position, explain how our campus processes work, and help them reach their potential!
