As you all know, Marc Cardinet, our full-time Sculpture tech, retired last semester. Marc is now devoting his time to creating art and recently had a one-man show in Sacramento.

Join us for this series based on the book Raising Self Reliant Children in a Self Indulgent World by H. Stephen Glenn. We will explore the three perceptions and four skills needed to develop capable young people.

Trauma Response and Education: Time will be spent discussing how our brain responds to trauma “normal reactions to abnormal events”. We will also explore ways to minimize the impact of the trauma response.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Queer Resource Center Study Sessions
Join other queer identified students while studying together. This is NOT a tutoring session, just a safe space to join others. Enjoy light music and other's virtual company!

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) - Practical Application
Children and youth who have suffered trauma have often experienced complex developmental trauma, demonstrating an interactive set of psychological and behavioral issues. Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a therapeutic model that trains caregivers and staff to provide effective support and treatment for at risk children.
This 12-hour course will introduce key components of TBRI and will be followed by weekly practical applications support group which will give participants the opportunity to practice what they've learned. Participants who have attended Lilliput Services TBRI simulcast are welcome to participate in the practical applications sessions.
