Based on the work of Dr. Becky Bailey at Loving Guidance Inc., this is a comprehensive life management program and social-emotional curriculum based on current brain research, child development information and developmentally appropriate practices. The seven powers for self control will change adults' perceptions, empowering them to be proactive instead of reactive during times of conflict.

Understanding the attachment style is the fundamental building block of all relationships and that we are designed for relationships makes this course the backbone of parent education. Most kinds of stress can be described in terms of conflict within the brain. The older part of the "downstairs brain," conflicts with the newer part of the brain, the "upstairs brain." Both sets of structures work to help us survive, but they do not always agree about what best serves survival. In this class, you'll come to understand the roots of that conflict and learn what you can do to take the power our of your stress.
