The IDEA office and Student Health Clinic are collaborating on BC Helping Academy 2023. This is a seminar aimed at bringing together faculty and staff to develop a shared understanding of mental health awareness from a DEIA2 lens to support all members of our campus. Participants will learn about the neurobiology of trauma, intergenerational effects of trauma, concepts of “moral injury,” and access to many meaningful tools. All participants will receive supplemental texts, Emotional Liberation Workbook, and an online resources folder. We hope you will consider submitting an application to participate. The deadline to apply is May 19. The seminar is scheduled for the week of June 12 - 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. | |
