Event Description:
The last day to submit a Federal Direct Loan for the 2020-2021 academic year is May 14, 2021. IMPORTANT: Students who apply for a student loan by this date MUST have done the Student Loan Entrance Counseling, Student Loan Master Promissory Note at https://studentaid.gov/. Student loan applicants who don't meet these requirements will not be accepted for loan processing. For other requirements, please visit the Butte College Financial Aid Office Federal Student Loans webpage.
IMPORTANT: Due to the Financial Aid Office working remotely, we ask that students who are interested in requesting a 2020-2021 Federal Direct Loan to email the Butte College Financial Aid Office at financialaid@butte.edu. We will only accept Direct Loan requests sent from your Butte College Student email; make sure to include your full name and student ID. Once the Financial Aid Office receives your email request, we will send you a loan request via email with further instructions.
