Event Description: Dr. Bruce Perry, leading researcher on the effects of trauma in children has put together this series for us to learn the importance of the brain's involvement in children's behavior and development. The six core strengths are: Attachment, Self-regulation, Affiliation, Attunement, Tolerance, and Respect. These strengths correspond with brain growth-they develop sequentially, each becomes the foundation for the next.
