The Butte College Gallery is featuring public art works by local artists in Butte County, in a virtual gallery exhibit. This virtual exhibit will be available for viewing online until June of 2021. Local artists include murals by Scott Teeple, Gregg Payne, David Barta, Ted Hanson, Frank Wilson, Christian Garcia, Shepard Fairey, and John Pugh.

Kao Kalia, April 20th 11am 
Kao Kalia is author of “The Song Poet” in which she highlights the challenges and struggles of her family when immigrating to the U.S. and facing racism. She will speak to a generation of Hmong and other immigrant students growing up in a dual world where one's culture and assimilating into the dominant culture are a constant balance and challenge.
