Come taste and learn about craft chocolate! The “bean to bar” craft chocolate movement has gained lots of ground in the past ten years as people are introduced to chocolate made from fine flavor cocoa beans, often for the first time. Come learn about how chocolate is made, and how small bean to bar chocolate businesses are popping up all over the world. We will also discuss important social, economic, and environmental impacts surrounding the chocolate industry. This session will be presented by the founder of PipeVine Chocolate and lab technician at the Physical Science department, Rusty Bogart.
