Cameron Awkward Rich
As a black, queer, trans poet, CAR's work speaks to the lived experience of marginalization and the reality of hope. He is often imagining other realities in his work while simultaneously navigating this reality. His poetry is deeply relational. He writes, "I don’t think that poetry can save the world, but I do think that reading poetry together can cement relationships, foster intimacy."
