All Day Butte College Giving Tuesday
On Giving Tuesday, Butte College will join thousands of colleges and nonprofits around the world in a global day of giving. Our goal is to increase awareness and support to benefit the outstanding students, faculty, and programs of Butte College. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for our campus to come together and show our “BC Pride” by giving back to what we care about most. Donate any time between November 8-30! Click the "Give Now" button or text "BCGT" to 76278 and donate by phone. If you prefer to send a check, mail to Butte College Foundation, 3560 Butte Campus Dr. Oroville CA 95965. Be sure to write "Giving Tuesday" and the fund you'd like to give to in the memo field.

Don’t forget to share your photos and what you are giving to by including #ButteGivingTuesday on social media.

12:00 AM Fall 2021 Maximum Timeframe Appeal Deadline

Deadline for submitting a Maximum Timeframe Appeal (MT) for the Fall 2021 semester is November 30, 2021. This appeal is for students who are disqualified for exceeding time frame requirements of their program may appeal by submitting a Maximum Timeframe Appeal. For instructions on how to submit a MT Appeal, please log into your MyBC FA Self Service Portal and click on Complete Required Documents and look for Maximum Timeframe Appeal links.
12:00 AM Fall 2021 Satisfactory Academic Progress Extenuating Circumstances Appeal (SAP) Deadline

Last day to submit SAP Appeal for the Fall 2021 semester is November 30, 2021. Students who failed to meet SAP criteria can file a SAP Appeal if student had extenuating circumstances. Extenuating circumstances may include serious illness or injury, the death of an immediate family member, or other non-recurring catastrophic or compelling situation beyond the student's reasonable control. For instructions on how to submit a SAP Appeal, please log into your MyBC FA Self Service and click on Complete Required Documents and look for SAP Appeal link.

BUTTE COLLEGE ART GALLERY
ALL ARTS ART BAZAAR

The Butte College Art Gallery is pleased to announce the First Annual All Arts Art Bazaar! This exhibition/sale will be on display from November 29 – December 9, 2021, in the Butte College Art Gallery on the Main Campus. An artists’ reception and celebration will take place on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3p.m. in the gallery. Please invite friends and family to this huge sale. Food and refreshments will be served.  This event is free and open to the public. 

The Butte College Art Gallery is located on the main Butte College campus, 3536 Campus Drive, in the new ARTS Building (ARTS 106) closest to parking lot 3. Gallery Hours: Monday 9 a.m. – 12p.m. Wednesday 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. For more information, contact the Butte College Department of Art, Digital Art & Design, 530-895-2404.

This option is good for First-semester freshman students or those new to Butte College and prefer to learn how to search and register for classes in a group Zoom setting.
●90 min. sessions in Zoom classroom
●Learn how to use Butte Colleges self-service portal, search and register for classes, and make your own ED plan in Starfish
●Self-paced enrollment with a counselor.
