The Butte College Art Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition by Sacramento artists, Aniko Kiezel and Heidi Murray.  This exhibition will be on display from October 18  – November 17, 2021, in the Butte College Art Gallery.

This show will display a collection of photographs by the commercial artist, Aniko Kiezel and ceramic sculptures by Heidi Murray. Kiezel works with a variety of subjects and displays her photographs in a large-scale framed format. These current works examine flowers and plants in vivid color prints. Kiezel also creates metal sculptures and she will have one of these on display along with her photographs. Heidi Murray will be presenting a collection of unique clay sculptural figures. These figures are delicately crafted and combine mixed media with clay in  whimsical and curious manners.

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Resiliency Zone Skills Training: Empathy
FLEX # 510.6
This interactive training will provide an overview of the Community Resiliency Model and share how participants can learn to utilize empathetic behavior to stay in the resiliency mode. Participants will also increase their awareness of what behaviors and communication may build empathy or destroy empathy in the workplace. The training will allow for many discussions focusing on the benefits of creating an empathetic culture in the workplace.
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Resiliency Zone Skills Training: Stress Mastery
FLEX # 510.4
Resiliency requires individuals and teams to master their mental state when faced with challenges. Unlike most programs that focus on time or stress management, The Stress Mastery/Finding Flow course focuses on creating the optimal state for the task at hand. The same tools and techniques that high-performance and extreme athletes use to prepare for the competition are accessible to all of us. Research shows that when we learn to control our biology and regulate our nervous system, we create the conditions for continuous breakthroughs. This session will help you and your teams build the emotional agility and psychological flexibility to be resilient and perform well when it matters most.
