• Must be enrolled for the Summer 2016 term
• You must have a valid 2015-2016 FAFSA on file with our office
• You have not used 100% of your 2015-16 Pell eligibility (i.e., did not attend full-time in both fall and spring)
• You do not have a current disqualification issue based on the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards for Financial Aid.
• If you were disqualified for Spring semester or a previous semester, you may need to submit a SAP appeal for the Summer to be considered for a Summer Pell Grant. Be aware that SAP appeals  can take up to 4 weeks which could delay funding.

Some students may wish to save a portion of their Pell lifetime eligibility for transferring to complete a bachelor's degree. If you choose NOT to receive your Pell SUMMER award during 2015-2016, please submit a Decline Pell Grant Form, downloadable from 2015-2016 Forms (on Forms & Links menu). If this is your choice, act quickly, as JUNE 2, 2016 is the deadline to submit your request for it to be effective for SUMMER 2016. This form, completed and signed by you, is the only official way for you to formally decline your Pell scheduled award.  Requests made after you have received Pell funds CANNOT be honored.

Students should apply for the 2016-17 FAFSA to receive the BOGFW to cover summer units fees.
