End Day Emergency Book Loan (Multi-Day Event)
A limited number of Emergency Book Loans (up to $175 at Butte College Bookstore (subject to change)) will be available August 26, 2020 for those students who are not eligible for the first financial aid disbursement for the Fall 2020 semester. 1st-come, 1st-served. Email the financial aid office at financialaid@butte.edu beginning Wednesday 8/26/2020 to request a book loan, we will not accept requests prior to this date.

All Day Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP)
The Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) coordinator from UC Davis, Sarah Fales, will be offering online advising appointments for students with any questions about transferring to a UC, especially UC Davis. This Fall, she will be meeting with students from 9am - 3pm on: August 31st. September 9th,15th, 24th, & 28th. October 13th & 28th. 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) - Training
Children and youth who have suffered trauma have often experienced complex developmental trauma, demonstrating an interactive set of psychological and behavioral issues. Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a therapeutic model that trains caregivers and staff to provide effective support and treatment for at risk children.
This 12-hour course will introduce key components of TBRI and will be followed by weekly practical applications support group which will give participants the opportunity to practice what they've learned. Participants who have attended Lilliput Services TBRI simulcast are welcome to participate in the practical applications sessions.

What is COVID-19? What are the short term and long term implications of catching the disease? What is the guidance for responding to sick individuals in this new environment? How do you use the guidance flowcharts? These questions will be addressed with ample opportunity for questions to be addressed about all things COVID.
