Fall 2017 Excess Units Petition Deadline
For students who failed to meet SAP time frame criteria. Students disqualified for exceeding time frame requirements may appeal by submitting an Excess Units Petition. Deadline for submitting a petition for the FALL 2017 semester is November 30, 2017.

Satisfactory Academic Progress Extenuating Circumstances Appeal (SAP)
For students who failed to meet Financial Aid SAP criteria. Extenuating circumstances (documentation required) may include serious illness or injury, death of an immediate family member, or other non-recurring catastrophic or compelling situation beyond the student's reasonable control. Students can start their Appeals for Fall 2017 on September 18th. Includes Course Evaluation, which must be completed on or after Monday, Sept. 18th. Incomplete appeals will be denied. Deadline: NOVEMBER 30, 2017

All Day FALL 2017 DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PRIORITY REGISTRATION APPEALS
Deadline to submit Priority Registration Appeal Petitions to Admissions & Records to receive priority status reevaluation by the start of Fall 2017 registration.
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Main Campus - Morning Session

Orientation is for new Butte College students.  Orientation includes general information about Butte College and the services available to students; a campus tour; and counseling/advising and registering for classes.  All students new to Butte College must complete orientation.  See orientation website for exemptions to orientation.  Students must have an appointment to attend an orientation.

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Canvas Summer Camp (DAY 2)
Registration is required.

We will present relevant topics on the use of Canvas with best practices and time saving techniques in mind. Whether you're new to Canvas, or a seasoned pro, we guarantee you will learn something new that will help you in promoting student success. Topics for Day 2 will include:

Real-time communication for lecture or office hours.

No prerequisites are required, but we strongly encourage you to self-assess your basic tech skills in advance. Invite a colleague! All sessions need at least three participants to be held. 

We encourage you to bring your own laptop.
