8:00 AM | Vote for Student Government (Multi-Day Event) At Butte College your student interests are represented by your student
government, the Associated Student Board. The Associated Student Board
is a group of elected and appointed student officers whose purpose is to
make Butte College the best environment for students to learn, grow and
fulfill their goals. Student government officers sit on campus wide committees and help to inform decision making groups.
Voting will take place on April 25 and 26. A link to vote in the Butte College Student Government elections will be sent to all students to the email they have on file with the college on April 25th. Polls will remain open until April 26th at 4 p.m.

| Spring 2018 Satisfactory Academic Progress Extenuating Circumstances Appeal (SAP) Satisfactory Academic Progress Extenuating Circumstances Appeal (SAP): For students who failed to meet SAP criteria. Extenuating circumstances may include serious illness or injury, the death of an immediate family member, or other non-recurring catastrophic or compelling situation beyond the student's reasonable control. The Financial Aid Office is accepting SAP Appeals on February 20, 2018. See SAP Appeal for details.
Please Note: If you are a student that made significant improvement during warning or probation
status, & completed a term of at least 6 units, with a minimum 2.20 GPA and 75% PACE) OR if in terminated status student completed ONE term unaided and met term SAP of 2.20 GPA and 100% PACE with a minimum of 6 units you are able to submit a SAP Appeal on January 15, 2018. | |
12:00 AM | Spring 2018 Excess Units Petition Deadline For students who failed to meet SAP time frame criteria. Students disqualified for exceeding time frame requirements may appeal by submitting an Excess Units Petition. Petitioning deadline for Spring 2018 semester is April 30, 2018.
Students will need to schedule an appointment with Counseling & Advising, Main Campus: 895-2378; Chico Center: 879-4363 Schedule ASAP. The Counseling Office will assist you in completing your Excess Units Petition.
If you are a recipient of Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS), please schedule with your EOPS Counselor. Main Campus: 895-2555. All completed Excess Units Petitions will need to be submitted to the Financial Aid Office. | |
