This year’s fashion event will showcase designs from Butte College Fashion and Art students

This event is designed to encourage the Butte College community to come together and celebrate the end of the semester!
Each day, students will be able to enjoy lunch from local food trucks, snow cones, vendors, free photo booth, games, hula hooping, music and more!
On Wednesday, May 8, special activities for Spring Carnival include:
10 a.m.: Magic Show by Kris Bentz
11:30 a.m.: Live performance by The Decades, a vibrant and diverse cover band through the ages
Noon: Campus Parade, led by the Paradise High Marching Band and Butte College participants
On Thursday, May 9, special activities for Spring Carnival include:
9 a.m.:Magic the Gathering Student Tournament with prizes
10 a.m.: Faculty and staff dunk tank. Ticket sales benefit student scholarships
10 a.m.: Dance-off for prizes
Noon: Karaoke for prizes and DJ music by Showmasters
All day: Blow up obstacle course

| 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Butte College Pottery Sale The Butte College Ceramics Department will hold its annual springtime pottery sale on May 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Butte College main campus, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Campus Center, first floor, near the bookstore. There will be a variety of unique, hand-made, ceramic pottery and sculpture at very reasonable prices and made by the students, faculty, and staff. For information call 893-7327.

| 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM | A.S. Spring Carnival - Chico Center The Chico Center Lounge will host an open Ping Pong Tournament for faculty, staff and students, May 9, during its Spring Carnival BBQ. This tournament is open to all levels and will begin at noon on the Chico Center Lounge Patio.
Chico Bar-B-Q will be cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs, and participants and observers can enjoy a tasty frozen lemonade and DJ music, courtesy of student Caleb Wegener.

The Completers and Leavers Survey Flex Workshop will provide a summary of information gleaned from recent Completer and Leaver surveys and dialogue about possible actions the college should take as a result. These are the largest surveys of former Butte College students that the college has ever undertaken and the results provide some wonderful insights that should help inform our systems, processes, and programs. During the Completer Survey 2,370 completers were contacted and we received responses from 1,057 for a response rate of 44%. For the Leavers Survey 1,215 former students were contacted and we received responses from 308 for a response rate of 25%. |
