All Day Run for Student Government! (Multi-Day Event)
At Butte College your interests are represented by your student government known as the Associated Student Executive Board. The Associated Student Executive Board is a group of elected and appointed student officers whose purpose is to make Butte College the best environment for students to learn, grow and fulfill their goals! Student Executive Board members receive semester stipends, leadership training, networking opportunities, and more! 
Candidate Packets and information are available online at www.butte.edu/as/elections.html or by going to the Associated Student Office, Campus Center Room 145.

Important 2014/15 Election Dates

  • March 3: Application Packets Available to students
  • April 10: Application Packets Due to the A.S. Office, CC 145
  • April 11: Election Campaigns may begin
  • April 29/30: Student Elections held at the Main Campus and Chico Center
End Day Diversity Days 2014 (Multi-Day Event)

FLEX #'s 652.01 - 652.28

Many of the Diversity Days activities, held March 31st thru April 4th are eligible for FLEX. The just-updated schedule on www.facebook.com/ButteDiversity has all the flex numbers (652.xx) for those activities which are Flex eligible. If you do not see a Flex number, the activity is not Flex eligible. Please do remember to sign in on the Flex worksheets. If you do not see a sign-in sheet, please be sure to ask the presenter!

All Day Apply for Scholarships Now through May 15 for Fall Semester! (Multi-Day Event)
Please encourage students to apply now for Foundation Scholarships at www.butte.edu/foundation for Fall semester. Deadline to apply is May 15, 2014. Check the site weekly for new scholarship opportunities.

9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Circle of Stones: A Mutigenerational Retreat for Women
This year's theme for Circle of Stones focuses on the Life Cycle, the pathway to becoming a mentor and elder, and a discussion of why we need both as we navigate through life's transitions. This event is multigenerational and women of all ages, students and staff alike are encouraged to attend this informative, nurturing and participatory workshop. A healthy and hearty lunch will be provided, thus participants need to register in advance by clicking the red 'register' button above or by calling Mallory Holt at 895-2428 no later than March 28, 2014.

Butte College is celebrating the one thing we all have in common... our diversity. More than 30 workshops, events, speakers, and films are scheduled from March 31 – April 4 for Butte College’s annual Diversity Days taking place at the main campus and is free and open to public.

Handi-Riders of Northern California, Inc. in a non-profit organization that provide a unique form of therapeutic activity for children and adults with special needs, referred to Therapeutic Horseback Riding.
