2:00 PM - 3:00 PM A.S. Fireside Debates: Student Government Forum
The Butte College Speech and Debate Team and the Butte College Associated Students will host “Fireside Debates” this April in the Campus Center Lounge. The event is designed to engage students in the debate process and create awareness around civic engagement. Audience participation is encouraged and a facilitated question and answer session will take place at the end of the debate. This event is free to students, faculty and staff and will include beverages and light snacks.

Priority Registration 
Who, if anyone, should have access to this privilege when registering for classes at Butte College. The pros and cons of implementing a priority registration process will be debated

April 29, 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Student Government Candidate Forum 
Meet current and future student government officers and hear what they have to say about representing students at Butte College. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask running candidates questions. The timing of this event coincides with student elections on April 29th and 30th.
