The tiny house movement seems to be sweeping the nation - and for many great reasons! The average American home is about 2,100 square feet and 1/3- 1/2 of American income is allocated to the roof over our heads! Tiny homes come in under 600 square feet (and often smaller) and offer owners a more simplified, cost effective, and eco-friendly way of living. Did you know 68% of tiny home-owners have no mortgage!
Curious if you could go tiny?! Come tour a beautiful tiny house on wheels, hosted by the Creative Animal Foundation. This tiny home is 24’W x 8’5″ x 13’4″ and has many eco-friendly features including: composting toilet, reclaimed wood siding, LED lighting, Low-E windows, Eco-bamboo flooring, energy star appliances, and low VOC paints and stains.
The Tiny House will be located at the Butte College Bus Loading zone, next to the Wired Cafe. Free music and food for our attendees! |
