Breaking through traditional roles and against all odds, Yuba City’s new mayor, Preet Didbal found the light to continue the fight. Not letting circumstances define her, Mayor Didbal redefined and empowered herself to be the catalyst to transform gender roles and take a seat at the table as an equal counterpart in order for her voice to be heard. Women today are rising above but we have much work to do...perseverance!
