Permaculture Workshop Series

Associated Students’ Sustainability Resource Center (SRC) has again invited Rosa Maicas founder of non-profit, Perma-fun-k to host a series of permaculture workshops.
Workshops are free to Butte College students and staff but request a $5 -$10 donation from the community.

Permaculture is an eco-design science that uses deep observation, mimicking natural systems and applying them to human systems such as: education, economy, agriculture and lifestyle.

Rosa Maicas is a certified permaculture designer and is the founder of the educational non-profit Perma-fun-k. Perma-fun-k offers classes, hands-on permaculture workshops & Permaculture Design Certificate's in California and Spain.

Students who plan on filing the FAFSA Dream Act, or making corrections, please bring 2014 W-2's and 2014 Federal Income Tax forms (1040s) or other earnings information, Social Security Number and date of birth. Dependent students must bring this information for parent(s) as well.

Come explore the beautiful wildlife refuge trails at Butte College! 
All hikes are guided by Geoff Hall and leave from the Sustainability Resource Center (next to arts) at 11:30 a.m. and return by 12:20 p.m.
Each hike will introduce you to a new area of the wildlife refuge. No experience necessary and free for all! Please bring comfortable closed toe shoes and water.

Permaculture Workshop Series

Associated Students’ Sustainability Resource Center (SRC) has again invited Rosa Maicas founder of non-profit, Perma-fun-k to host a series of permaculture workshops.
Workshops are free to Butte College students and staff but request a $5 -$10 donation from the community.

Permaculture is an eco-design science that uses deep observation, mimicking natural systems and applying them to human systems such as: education, economy, agriculture and lifestyle.

Rosa Maicas is a certified permaculture designer and is the founder of the educational non-profit Perma-fun-k. Perma-fun-k offers classes, hands-on permaculture workshops & Permaculture Design Certificate's in California and Spain.

In this session faculty will learn to create and customize a course with a professional looking course banner, complete with title and name. Since a banner is not made in Bb, staff will showcase a variety of web based image editing platform.

Come explore the beautiful wildlife refuge trails at Butte College! 
All hikes are guided by Geoff Hall and leave from the Sustainability Resource Center (next to arts) at 11:30 a.m. and return by 12:20 p.m.
Each hike will introduce you to a new area of the wildlife refuge. No experience necessary and free for all! Please bring comfortable closed toe shoes and water.
