11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Is it My Responsibility?: Empower Hour

We all have struggled on when and how to intervene is escalated situations like, a fight, a sexual assault, or inappropriate behavior. Join Safe Place Program Coordinator, Stephanie Jimenez, to explore strategies that reflect appropriate responses and learn to circumvent potential defensiveness by those that are creating the unsafe situations.
Flex credit available.

The Empower Hour Series is designed to provide 1-hour workshops that leave you feeling empowered to dig deeper into yourself and issues of social and environmental justice. These workshops are open to all students faculty and staff. Check the Student Life event Calendar for a list of all the workshops in this series.
