You have a voice that matters and we want to hear from you! The Butte College Associated Students will be holding student elections April 28th thru May 1st, 2015. If you are interested in running for student government, Candidate Packets are available in the Butte College Associated Students Office, Campus Center room 145 or online at, http://www.butte.edu/as/electio ns.html. Applicants must complete the packet and turn it into the Butte College Associated Students Office by March 31st, 2015 at 5 p.m.

The Cien Amigos civic group, the Mexican Cultural Center of Northern California, and the Consulate General of Mexico in Sacramento, with the support of the Institute for Mexicans Abroad (IME), are pleased to announce the Cien Amigos – IME Scholarship Fund to encourage the educational success of Mexican-origin and Latino students in California.
The Cien Amigos–IME Scholarship Committee will accept applications for 2015 College Scholarships and High School Grants beginning March 1, 2015. Deadline for applications is May 31, 2015. For more information, please visit http://cienamigos-imebecas.org

diversity. Numerous workshops, events, speakers and films are scheduled. The event is free and
open to the public. This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Temple Grandin. Additional topics and events during the week include "What palm trees
can teach us about ADHD," "Rethinking race and gender blindness,"
"Celebrating TRANSgender* Lives," "Inside the world of foster youth," "A
look at masculinity on 2015," "Modern policing and use of force,"
"Latinos in the melting pot," "Real-life adventures of my LGBT family,"
