All Day	Green Tara Sand Mandala A creation and dismantling of the Green Tara Sand Mandala by Losang Samten in the main campus Library will lead us into Diversity Days 2017. Green Tara is associated with the qualities of action and protection, kindness and caring, and a strong connection to earth. The practice of Green Tara is powerful to help us overcome our fears, reduce stress, achieve a better future, heal physical and mental illness, as well as to improve our relationships with ourselves and others. 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM	Building Community: Empower Hour What does community mean to you? Is it a place? A group of people? Join Santy Gray and students from the Butte College Culture & Community Center to sit in Council and discuss ways to build and strengthen the communities in which we exist. Flex credit available. The Empower Hour Series is designed to provide 1-hour workshops that leave you feeling empowered to dig deeper into yourself and issues of social and environmental justice.
