When people think of exercise they often think of weight loss and increased muscle mass or bone density. But did you know that regular exercise can make you feel happier, improve brain health and memory, and increase energy levels? Regular exercise can also reduce your risk of chronic disease, reduce pain, and improve relaxation and sleep. Come join Biology instructor and Friends of the Refuge advisor, Kelly Wood, on a hike out on the Butte College Wildlife Refuge. Be sure to bring water and wear sturdy shoes for a fun, healthy one-hour adventure into nature. |
