9:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Butte College Club Promotion Days The Butte College Associated Students’ Inter Club Council will host their spring semester Club Promotion Days on February 18 and 19, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Butte College Campus Center Dining area. The Inter Club Council is dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to expand their educational, professional, and leadership experience outside the classroom. During this event, Butte College student organizations and clubs will host information tables to create awareness of their organization's activities and to encourage club recruitment and membership. Students are encouraged to explore the existing student organizations and clubs on campus but will also receive information on how to start a new student organization or club at Butte College.

Wellness Days Workshops
EFT/Empathy Circle with D. McNeal on 2/18 from 9:30 - 10:30 in Safe Place (SS A)
An empathy circle is a safe and confidential place to be heard and process what is going on. EFT is a tool similar to acupressure to help relieve stress and trauma. This workshop will give you an intro to these powerful tools.
Time Management with C. Bantum on 2/18 from 11 to 11:50 in the LRC 223
This workshop considers how students can better utilize their time through a discussion on goal setting, a review of study habits, and determining how to prioritize the multiple tasks students face on a daily basis.
Stress Management with C. Bantum on 2/18 from 12- 12:50 in LRC 223
This workshop looks at the typical stressors college students face, including finances, time, and relationships. Students then discuss stress management tools they can incorporate into their daily lives.
Group Dynamics with K. Munson on 2/18 from 11-11:50 in Campus Center 116
Learn about yourself and others through a simple assessment that will help you understand and improve the dynamics of working in a group.
Debt Avoidance and Reduction with Patrick Christensen on 2/19 from 3-4 in the CFE

Wellness Days Film & Discussion: Fed Up
(Feb. 18 - Center for Excellence from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Chico Center Lounge from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)
Fed Up is a 2014 American Documentary that focuses on the cause of obesity in the U.S., presenting evidence showing that the large quantities of sugar in processed foods are an overlooked root of the problem and points to the monied lobbying power of "Big Sugar" in blocking attempts to enact policies to address the issue.
