Event Description:
January 1, 2016 is the opening day for submittal of the 2016-2017 FAFSA.
Continuing students can start renewing their FAFSA for the 2016-2017 Academic Year (FALL 2016 - SPRING 2017) at www.fafsa.gov or from the Butte College Financial Aid website (click on Apply Here tab, then select 6 Steps to Financial Aid; follow STEP 1).
Current High School Seniors and Parent(s) can apply for a Federal Student ID (FSA ID). Please save your FSA ID as you will need it when submitting the FAFSA and whenever using the Federal Student Aid websites. High school seniors and parents, and other new students, can also apply for a FSA ID when completing the FAFSA.
Important: To be considered for a Cal Grant, high school seniors must submit the FAFSA and high school GPA by March 2, 2016. Ask your High School Counselor about the date for your school’s Cash 4 College event and about how to submit your GPA. |
