End Date: 11/1/2017End Time: 1:45 PM
Event Description:

At this event, we will be discussing what freedom of speech means to the average American and what is protected. We will also talk about the consequences of our words. Hate speech is legal, but does not have to be tolerated. We will encourage students to be engaged and to create a dialogue rather than creating conflict.
This event will be facilitated but the Butte College Associated Student Government and feature a panel of Butte College faculty that includes: Jack Hames, Charles Turner, and Nate Steffen.
