The CELT conference brings together a community of scholars from different institutions and perspectives to discuss what makes learning possible and how we can all participate in it. This year’s conference will be held on October 8th and 9th at Chico State. The Keynote speaker is the esteemed Rachel Beattie who will be delivering a powerful message on “Productive Persistence” in keeping with the theme of “Academic Grit.” | |

The Butte College Police Department is offering “Surviving Critical Incidents” training to Butte College students and employees.
This free training will address current issues and safety concerns regarding critical incidents like the active shooter tragedy that occurred last week in Oregon.
This 45 minute training will teach proper mindset, and realistic strategies for dealing with an active shooter on campus or other critical incidents. We will also review Butte College Lockdown and Evacuation procedures. | |
