3:00 PM - 4:30 PM | RealResilience Workshop Series: We Need a Plan for REALResilience FLEX # 512.5
The RealResilience workshop series is based on the idea that resilient individuals and communities are the result of healthy relationships. Lots and lots of healthy relationships. The goal of this workshop series, therefore, is to remind people how to relate to both themselves AND each other in ways that promote the dignity of all parties involved. Presented by Devjani (Juni) Banerjee-Stevens, PhD
Guiding Questions that We’ll Address:
• As individuals, how do we reduce ACEs AND increase PCEs?
• What wires together, fires together
• We need systems that are flexible, especially as we learn more about the neurobiology of trauma
• Let’s do this: Relate → Regulate → Repair → Repeat
• Why might it be hard for people to change their attitudes and behaviors? | |
