José Angel (They/Them) is a non-binary, Mexican-American student activist. An alumni of Butte College, José currently studies at the University of California, Davis, majoring in Chicanx Studies & Sociocultural Anthropology. As a public speaker, José centers queer, post-colonial experiences through dismantling Eurocentric knowledge of life and history. They seek to inspire people to rethink the boundaries of our current society by engaging audiences with an anti-colonial approach to understanding culture, gender, race, & power.
