Dr. RGK, along with colleague Dr. Estela Zarate, developed an online institute for faculty that focuses on evidence-based teaching and interaction strategies that draw
on first-generation college students' strengths (FGCS). This work is based on Chávez and Longerbeam's (2016) cultural framework from Teaching Across Cultural Strengths.
