Introducing CASA - Butte's New HSI Program

Butte College has been awarded a five-year Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions (DHSI) Grant from the US Department of Education. The grant will fund the Center for Access, Support & Achievement (CASA) project, and will build a comprehensive support network for student success, completion, and transfer. The grant focuses on increasing the number of Hispanic and low-income (H/LI) students that enroll, complete college level math and English, and complete a certificate and/or requirements to successfully transition to a university within no more than four years. In this workshop, we will provide an overview of the activities, support and services that will be implemented and available to students, staff and faculty.
